Casey Noe is living with a rare disease that affects almost every aspect of her life, but she doesn’t let it stop her from helping others who also suffer from serious health conditions.
Casey has myoclonic dystonia, which causes some muscles in her body to spasm and she is also prone to sudden jerking motions.
Although she has taken numerous medications for her myoclonic dystonia, so far, her symptoms have not been relieved, and while Casey can feel discouraged, she tries not to let it show.
As part of her “spiritual medicine,” Casey makes scrapbooks for other families who are battling illnesses. She does this because she wants them to feel better, even if it’s just for a little while.
Casey also has a blog where she raises awareness about myoclonic dystonia.
