Holidays Are Not for Pulling Out Your Hair

Happy Holidays!

Many people spend their time running around trying to bake as much as they can, buy and wrap as many presents as they can, go to as many holiday parties as they can, stressing, pulling their hair out… all of this sounds very exhausting.

This could also be extra dangerous for those with a rare disease. Don’t give in to the pressures of the holidays. As Nikole has discovered and talks about in her two part series “It’s not the sweet treats that make the holidays feel like a time of celebration. It is the sweet moments spent with my family.”

Kristen is a junior and soon to be senior at Christopher Newport University. She has an Associate’s Degree in graphic design, and is working toward her Bachelors in Fine Arts focusing in graphic design. Kristen has a passion for animals and art, and in her spare time likes to paint, or design on the computer as well as playing with her dog Mr. Pickles. Kristen is happy to be moving on to a new chapter of her life soon, getting married at the end of May 2016 and graduating in April 2017.
