Cure SMA is a nonprofit organization that has officially launched their 2017 SMA survey.
This is a survey is available to those with spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) across the world. Also, its main purpose is to aid in addressing some of the major issues of SMA treatment. The categories for the survey will be based on the patients age and whether or not the respondent is either a patient or caregiver.
What are the logistics?
You can complete the survey online. It is completely voluntary and only takes about 15 minutes, and is strictly confidential. It is an open survey. Patients who have SMA, parents, and caregivers can take this survey. Similarly, you can take the survey on behalf of someone who passed away from SMA.
Can We Count On You to Help?
For those who participate, they will be placed into a drawing. Each person will get the chance to win a variety of prizes. In fact, Disney gift vouchers and 10 tickets to the 2017 Annual SMA conference held at Disney World will be given to the winners.
Additionally, the results of the survey will hopefully help to increase the speed developing drugs for SMA. They will also aid in improving the care of individuals with spinal muscular atrophy.
