Tuberous Sclerosis and Autism Event April 1 at BadWolf Brewing

The On Tap for TS event is Saturday April 1, 2017 from 4 – 8 pm to benefit tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) and autism research. It will be at BadWolf Brewing Company, 8420 Kao Circle Manassas, VA 20111.

The event supports Tyler Jacob who has tuberous sclerosis complex and autism. Also, a percentage of their beer sales are going to be donated to this cause. There will be a food truck and a band for entertainment.

Jeff Baker will be the guest pourer for the event. Jeff has played as a first and second baseman for Major League Baseball. He has played for teams such as the Chicago Cubs, Atlanta Braves, and Detroit Tigers.

Tyler received a TSC diagnosis in 2009, only four months or so after he was born. TSC is a rare genetic disorder for which there is no cure yet. For Tyler, it has caused him to develop multiple tumors in his kidneys, heart, and brain. He is only a toddler now but it is possible for more tumors to grow throughout his life. Tyler’s brain tumor is giving him the most difficulty and he has continuous seizures.  Furthermore, he has been to the hospital many times for observing, testing, and treatment. In addition, he has weekly visits to the doctor for his conditions.

Come out to support Tyler and meet a baseball star.
