Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy Clinical Trial of Respiratory Function

A clinical trial is up for those suffering from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

An oral tablet called Idebenone will be compared to a placebo, to see if it is safe and effective in delaying the decline in breathing function in boys and men with DMD.

There are 59 study locations including the US, and many locations in Western Europe.

Participants must be at least 10 years old and have been on steroids –either prednisone or defazacort– for at least 12 months, and the FVC must be between 30% and 80%.

If you would like to consider participating, speak to your physician and click here or email [email protected].
