You Need to Tell Your Immunologist About These Conferences!

Clinical immunology is a biomedical branch of science that studies the immune systems of all living things, including people.

It is through such studies that great advances in medicine have been made, including vaccines for polio and smallpox. Primary immunodeficiency disorders (PID) are currently high on the priority list, also. So, it’s always nice when immunologists can get together and “talk shop.”

If you’re an immunologist, and you have a little bit of free time this summer, dust off your passport and attend the 8th Annual European Immunology Conference in Madrid, Spain. The conference runs from June 29 to July 1, 2017.

And if you, or you loved one has PI, maybe nudge your immunologist to take a trip.

However, if you don’t like long international flights, or your summer is already booked, you’ll have the opportunity to attend the 9th World Congress and Expo on Immunology in Atlanta, Georgia on November 1 – 2, 2017.

Keynote speakers include:

  • Sudhir Gupta from the University of California-Irvine,
  • Charles J. Malmud from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine
  • Martin J. Souza from Mercer College.

For immunologists, attending conferences such as the two detailed above provides them with the opportunity to discuss emerging trends within their field of expertise. The Atlanta conference will host doctors, researchers, and scientists from all over the world who will have the chance to hear presentations, visit exhibits, and network with colleagues.

And all of that means better care for more PI patients and more!
