Don’t you hate when you remember a question you wanted to ask after you’ve already left?
Arguably the most important questions are towards the end of appointments, when you’re receiving the plan to put in action until your next appointment. It can feel like a whirlwind from the time the doctor comes in til he or she leaves and then you’re standing outside the office trying to remember everything that was said in the last few minutes.
If you feel like you haven’t quite gotten it all or that your doctor wasn’t clear, make sure to ask deliberately what you should do moving forward. It also never hurts to bring a pad of paper and a pen!
