The International Waldenstrom’s Macroglobulinemia Foundation is Teaming up with CancerCare

Patient Worthy Partner and rare cancer advocacy group The International Waldenstrom’s Macroglobulinemia Foundation (IWMF) is partnering with CancerCare to bring you an event on October 4th that you won’t want to miss!
A little bit about the IWMF: Founded and led by patients, they’re goal is to support everyone affected by Waldenstrom’s macroglobulinemia (WM), while also making progress toward a cure.

This awesome non-profit, is comprised of 99% volunteers and represents 32.000 Waldenstrom’s patients worldwide! As they strive to help the lives of those living with this rare cancer, they offer critical services to achieve that end.

  • They provide easily-digested information and publications to ensure understanding of WM
  • They educate patients and support persons at their Educational Forum where they can hear from WM researchers and clinicians
  • They update users with their quarterly Torch newsletter and news releases
  • They provide peer support from patients and peers who have been in WM warriors’ shoes
  • They provide important information for medical professionals who may not know very much about WM
  • They support research for more effective treatments as they search for a cure
So, back to the IWMF and CancerCare: They are presenting a FREE workshop for YOU to learn what’s new in WM  treatment! If you can’t make it to the event, you can stream it online from anywhere in the world.
Register here for the workshop, or call the CancerCare HopeLine at 800-813-4673.
