BREAKING (Mexico): Medical Marijuana First-Ever Federally Approved Cannabidiol (CBD) Product Shipped

For those of us with rare diseases, the subject of Marinol and other marijuana-derived substances has certainly come up in conversations with doctors, at least in terms of it’s pain alleviating qualities and it’s ability to help us sleep!

The problem? Many federal governments generally do not approve of the use of marijuana, or medical marijuana in any instances. They have heavy consequences for using and selling the drug, so a change in legislature around marijuana would mean a BIG overhaul in current policies.

Well, good news is here for Mexico!

According to a press release on Globe News Wire, the first ever cannabidiol (CBD) hemp oil product has been given the “OK” by the Mexican government for import. Now, HempMeds® Mexico’s RSHO-XTM product is receiving orders and began shipping to Mexican consumers yesterday!

Orders do call for a prescription from doctors, as well as an import permit. But Mexico is finally catching up the U.S. on this issue, as HempMeds® hemp oil products are currently available to all U.S. states and territories since it is classified as a “nutritional supplement” as opposed to a drug.
