Myasthenia Gravis (MG) affects about 20 in every 100,000 people. So, yeah, it’s rare. But it’s equally life-shattering. A few symptoms include:
- double vision
- slurred speech
- major fatigue
- trouble swallowing
People with MG can also develop more serious complications, like life-threatening breathing difficulties. While not all MG symptoms are life-threatening, they can certainly be classified as quality of life-threatening. See what I did there?
Come out to the Strides Against MG Walk on June 5th and spread awareness of MG!
