Laughter, the Best Medicine?

Humor helps a lot of people deal with rough situations, but even if that’s the case, you may not your doctor to attempt to weave it into an office visit.

Maybe you’re the type who jokes during the entirety your medical appointments: “I wish I could say it’s nice to see you again…”, “whoa, aren’t you going to take me to dinner first?”.

Or maybe you’re the type who wants to deal with the weight of the situation up front and feel certain that your doctor is taking you seriously and acknowledging the solemnity and importance of the appointment to you.

Whichever you prefer, a little communication can help make the appointment a little less taxing.

What do you prefer? Have you had this type of talk with your doc?
