The Castleman Disease Collaborative Network is hosting a gala next month to raise money to continue to research the causes of Castleman Disease and find the cure. Castleman is as common as ALS and deadlier than Lymphoma. Unfortunately is poorly understood but the CDCN has brought research a long way in just a few years.
Check out the CDCN’s website to learn more about their revolutionary approach to tackling rare disease research and making meaningfu progress. In their words, the CDCN has been “building a global community of 300+ physicians and researchers, crowdsourcing among the community to prioritize research, investing in 9 high-impact research studies, and keeping patients at the heart of everything we do.” One mom of a teenage Castleman patient said her family finally felt safe once they found the CDCN.
The goal of the gala is to raise $100,000 to pursue explanations for some answered questions about Castleman Disease and continue to help patients around the world in their battles.

This year’s gala is taking place the same weekend as the CDCN’s Patient & Loved one Summit which allows patients and loved ones from across the globe to connect and learn.
