The Susan Skinner Memorial Fund (SSMF) Scholarship was created to help foster the education of the newest generation of bleeding disorder advocates and researchers.
Two scholarships are being offered this year for individuals to attend the World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH) National Member Organization Training, World Congress, and the Annual Meeting of the General Assembly.
What’s included?
- Registration for all three events
- Transportation and travel to the events’ location in Glasgow, Scotland
- Hotel accommodations during the events’ duration
- Meals during the events’ duration
If you are a female between 18 and 30 years old, who is a carrier or who is diagnosed with hemophilia, von Willebrand disease, or another bleeding disorder, you could be eligible!

If you’re ready to apply, make sure you fill out all parts of the application, and have your chapter complete the referral form.
ALL components of the application must be postmarked by Thursday, June 15th. Winners will be announced on August 26th at the NHF Official Annual Meeting and Awards Ceremony.
