The pharmaceutical company AbbVie recently shared results from the Phase 3 trials of a new potential rheumatoid arthritis treatment called upadacitinib (ABT-494), which helps patients with serious rheumatoid arthritis who haven’t responded to other forms of treatment. The results were promising– the drug met all the endpoints the researchers set out for, and can move on to the next phase of testing.
