He Gave Up Beer for 115 Days and Something Remarkable Happened

When radio personality, Mike Farwell, and three of his intrepid listeners decided to give up drinking beer for 115 days (ending on Christmas) he asked the Block 3 Brewing Company in St. Jacobs, Ontario, Canada, who makes his favorite beverage to have a special brew waiting for him when he met the goal.

The guys at the brewery agreed, and even let him choose the name. And so Face for Radio IPA was born.

What’s even more amazing is $1.00 from every liter sold will be donated to cystic fibrosis, a cause that is very important to Farwell. Why? Farwell’s sisters Luanne, 24 and Sherri, 18 both have cystic fibrosis.
