IPF Patients, Caregivers! Use This Free Online Educational Program!

“Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis: Partnering with Your Doctor,” is an interactive program for people diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) and their caregivers. And you know what’s even more awesome about it?? It’s FREE!

ProPatient, the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation (PFF) as well as the Academy for Continued Healthcare Learning (ACHL) are the founders of this new resource for everyone who wants to know more about idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.

Sometimes, it may feel easy to just search online for the answers to your IPF questions. Also some things might be true, while others may be far from the truth. With this program you will not have to be concerned about whether a source is credible or not. This program will be beneficial to those who have IPF and their caretakers.

This educational program seeks to be the go-to website for people looking for more information on IPF.

The founders said, that they want “Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis: Partnering with Your Doctor” to be seen as a resource everyone affected by IPF can trust. It provides a range of information from disease diagnosis to treatments.  There are even tips provided on exercising, traveling, and basically on how to live with IPF.

With this collaboration, ProPatient uses its online tools that include simulations and a “smart checklist” to provide health education from PFF and ACHL. ProPatient helps bring together physicians, researchers, and the entire IPF community.

This program would not be possible without Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals and Genetech who provided educational grants. The program is on ACHL’s direct website.
