‘We Are Visible’ Film Screening

Karina Sturm’s life was changed forever in 2010 when several ‘invisible’ rare conditions such as Ehlers-Danlos syndrome forced her to give up her job as a research associate. She has since turned to studying journalism in Edinburgh, Scotland and ‘We Are Visible’ is part of her Master’s thesis.

The documentary focuses on the lives of patients with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome and the challenges that they face living with an invisible disease. The film has received wide recognition.
