No Sh*t, Sherlock: You’d Be Tired, Too, If You Lived with PAH!

I mean really! Really?! Source: www.giphy.com

I revisited an article about a clinical trial that focused on women with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), and I’m still baffled, because it just doesn’t make sense.

The information provided about PAH is spot on and includes how PAH affects people, particularly women. But the clinical findings are challenging, at best, to understand.

I mean, why would anyone conduct a clinical trial to measure something that they pretty much already know? Duh, women with PAH really do feel short of breath; they pretty much lead sedentary lives, they don’t exercise, and they feel really tired!

You’d feel that way, too, if you had difficulty breathing!

I don’t know about you, but I don’t understand why pharmaceutical companies, scientists, and doctors can’t work collaboratively on treating PAH vs. studying outcomes that we already know? No shit, Sherlock. That’s about all I have to say.

Are you a woman living with PAH? And if so, what’s your take on this study? Do you think it’s a waste of time, money, and resources?
