Get Connected! Waldenstrom Macroglobulinemia (WM) Support Groups

There is support out there for people living with and/or affected by Waldenstrom macroglobulinemia (WM).
Thankfully, according to Patient Worthy Partner International Waldenstrom’s Macroglobulinemia Foundation (IWMF,) a gap may be bridged between individuals and support groups. IWMF support groups can render support for patients, their family members, and caregivers. These groups can also provide a comfortable, safe space to discuss shared experiences or concerns. And hey, who wouldn’t want to make a new friend or two?

The IWMF website hosts an interactive support group section on which you can search for WM support groups internationally. Right now, there are more than 55 support groups all across the globe. Along with locations of the groups, you can also find contact information for group organizers. There is also a nifty calendar with group meeting information. WM support is literally a click away.

If it just so happens that there is not a support group where you live, no worries! You can start one. Check out the support group page for more information. Let us know how being a part of a support group has helped you in your journey!
