Living Well with Dystonia

This is a video presentation I created called Living Well with Dystonia.

It shares some of the many things I have learned in my almost 20 years of living with dystonia, a neurological movement disorder. It provides strategies for how to navigate the physical, emotional, and social aspects, which is applicable to any chronic health condition. It provides critical information on the nature of suffering and how to work through life challenges, much like my book, Diagnosis Dystonia: Navigating the Journey.

Chronic health conditions impact nearly every aspect of our lives, all of which are very important to address. Too often neglected by us and our doctors are many of the non-physical aspects, which can be to our detriment and cause more stress, which creates a vicious circle of symptoms (physical and emotional). This video program has a special emphasis in these areas. It also shares many of the things I find helpful to manage my symptoms, as well as creating a new life for myself after chronic pain from dystonia turned my world upside down for years.
