What exactly does it protect from?
These masks protect from particulate that is as small as .3 microns which is amazing considering the fact that Respirable-particles which are 2.5 micron are considered hazardous. Other particles include pollen which ranges from 3 to 100 micron, Thoracic-particles (10 microns or less), and inhalable-particles (100 microns or less).
The masks include an exhalation valve which lets out moisture and co2.
Two Types
There are two types of masks sold by Vogmask- microfiber and organics (made from cotton). Both types provide the same level of protection from particulate, but people are able to choose the material that is more comfortable for them.
Both types of masks come in three sizes- small, medium, and large. The smallest size can fit children as young as three years of age.
