If You Have a Rare Disease, Now You Have a PAL

We know that the cost of medical treatment, even with great insurance, is high.

Transportation, parking, inability to work full-time because you are taking care of a very ill family member or because you are ill, all contribute to the financial strain of rare disease. If you are having difficulty affording commercial flights to seek treatment, follow-up care, or second opinions, know that you do have a willing and caring partner in PAL.

PALS is a top rated charity that provides FREE flights for medical care and home again for those in need in the following states: Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont and Virginia.

If you reside elsewhere, PAL may be able to connect you with sister organizations in other parts of the country.

In addition, PAL has volunteers in some major cities to provide ground transportation whether you have used their flight services, or other transportation.
