Bravery is something rare disease patients know a lot about. They may be scared before a procedure, and understandably so, but more than likely they’ve done their research and they’re going to go through it and come out even stronger. They’ve been through more than some of their peers could even imagine.

Waking up in their body every day and living with a chronic illness takes an incredible amount of courage.
