Sometimes it’s Just Nice to be Heard

Have you heard of myasthenia gravis?

If not, that’s not surprising considering it is a rare disease, with about 20 out of 100,000 known sufferers. However it is probably under-diagnosed and those numbers could be higher.

MG is a disease that effects the voluntary muscles making them weak. Imagine… walking down a flight of stairs and all of a sudden your legs aren’t working, or you feel completely drained and can’t move, or you can’t smile. That is what MG does. The more people who know about MG, the more people can get properly diagnosed, and more research can be done to find better treatment or maybe even a cure!

Pass it on! #IhaveheardofMG
