This Doc has MG. You’ll Want to Know Her Story.

How often may we get the chance to hear about how a doctor feels in dealing with their own chronic conditions? Not very often, right. Well, watch this interview from August 2016 and find out what it’s like  to be a doctor living with an autoimmune disease called myasthenia gravis (MG).

MG affects voluntary muscles and brings with it an uncountable means of difficulties due to a breakdown in communication between nerves and muscles.

Dr. Olawaiye-Dampson speaks from the perspective of not just a health expert explaining the medical definition of MG.
