A New Rare Disease Film Festival is Coming to Boston This Fall

The first Disorder: The Rare Disease Film Festival (RDFF) is coming to Boston, MA this October! Check out details below:

When: October 2nd – 3rd, 2017
Where: Boston, MA
Why: For rare awareness, personal connections, inspiration, and conversation that can lead to increased research and pathways to cures for rare diseases.

Patients, families, advocates, clinicians, scientists and researchers should all attend! This film fest will shed light on, and put a personal face to, some of the 7000+ known rare diseases. The majority of the films are documentaries under 15 minutes, that will show how rare disease effects patients and families, allowing clinicians and researchers in attendance to see how critical early detection and treatment are in rare disease. Additionally, patients and families who are in the audience may feel a sense of community in knowing they are not alone.
