Pull out those calendars!
If you’ve been searching for an opportunity to connect with others living with Waldenstrom’s macroglobulinemia (WM), or with those who help care for these individuals—this may be your opportunity!

The International Waldenstrom’s Macroglobulinemia Foundation (IWMF) has announced the dates and location for the 2018 IWMF Educational Forum. People will gather near Chicago, IL for the annual event, beginning May 18th. It will end on the 20th.

There will be many opportunities for people living with WM, and those providing care, to soak up information from specialists. These specialists have taken part in research and clinical practice. Not only will participants have the opportunity to learn about WM through presentations and breakout sessions, they will also be able to share their experiences in a compassionate, understanding atmosphere. Various cities in the U.S. host the event each year. Everyone is welcome, regardless of your involvement or knowledge of WM.

Some of the topics to be presented include:
  • Signs of WM and complications
  • Treatment
  • New therapies
  • And the latest findings that could possibly result in a cure

The forum is going to be housed at The Westin O’Hare in Rosemont. Want to be a part of it? Click here for more information on registration and special hotel rates.  Also, click here to check out some media from previous events, including photos and videos!
