This one was built by the National Kidney Foundation (NKF), the leading organization in the U.S. dedicated to the awareness, prevention, and treatment of kidney disease for hundreds of thousands of healthcare professionals. This app is the medical professional’s nifty tool for patient demographics and lab results. You can enter patient info into the app which is then returned with info on kidney disease. This one is all about diabetes. It was created to aid insurance providers in communicating with patients to manage their type 2 diabetes. The app works as a sort of medication that needs to be prescribed from the provider. Once prescribed, you would then create a treatment plan that best suits your personal needs.

This app was built by a medical student with the assistance from two of his classmate buddies and it’s aim is to help doctors analyze arterial blood gas results. If you are learning the basics of ABG analysis, it’s the ultimate step by step guide that presents the jargon in layman’s terms.
