Hurry Up and Laugh for TSC on April 2nd

The Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance works to bring awareness to tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC).

They also work to raise funds for TSC. Over the years, some of the greatest in the entertainment business have supported the organization.

The annual event, called “Comedy for a Cure,” will take place at The Globe Theatre in Universal Studios Hollywood. Jim O’Heir from the show Parks & Recreation will be the host this year. He has supported the Alliance for many years and will submit to a roasting from a few of the funniest comedians.

Wendy Liebman and Bryan Callen will be doing the roasting and entertaining guests. Shane Brady will perform a magic show. Actors Kate Flannery and Jane Lynch will provide musical entertainment with Tim Davis and the Tony Guerrero Jazz Band. Clearly, there will be lots of entertainment at this event, and you will not want to miss it! Also, there will be a silent auction, and a leadership award will be presented.

Since “Comedy for a Cure” began, it has raised over $4.5 million to go towards TSC. Treatment is available to manage TSC symptoms, but there is not a cure. Hopefully, funding will lead to a cure one day.
